Rep. Carl Wilson

(R-Grants Pass), House District 3

Representative Carl Wilson joined the U.S. Navy after graduating from Grants Pass High School in 1970. He spent two years on active duty and several in reserve. He is the owner of the Grants Pass Broadcasting Corporation, where he has hosted a talk show and has been on the air since 1973.

Rep. Wilson married his wife, Malinda in 1972, and they have two adult children. In 1998, he was appointed to the Oregon House of Representatives. He retired from the Legislature in 2003. In 2014, he came out of retirement to serve as a member of the House once again.

In 2007, Rep. Wilson served as President of the Grants Pass Rotary Club. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Evergreen Federal Bank and is active in the Ministry at River Valley Community Church. He enjoys riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
